We visited a whiskey distillery.
We had a great tour and learned a lot about the whiskey making process. Then we tasted some of the whiskeys, and now I cannot remember much at all.

This is a composite picture I made using items other people have painted.
These are all legally obtained and I am free to use them, so am seeing if I can 'create' some interesting pictures.
This was a red mug I added some stems and the funky blue background.
Hoping that these photos manage to capture the bleak midwinter feeling.
Although with some sun shining it was not that bleak!
Please let me know what you think!
Having had several days of mild weather we now have some much cooler air leading to a bright frosty morning.
Deer in the field surrounded by mist.
Saw the last of the supermoon this week. The next supermoon will be 25 November 2034.
That is 18 years from now.
What will you be doing, what will you have achieved?
Just think of all that you have achieved in the last 18 years, and with the knowledge that you already have, imagine the possibilities!!!!
Having hardly seen the sun all day, as it was about to set it peered through the mist and made a delicately coloured sunset.
A sunny day as we drove.
To say today was grey would be kind, it was more grungy and grimey, lots of grey sky and mucky roads.
Sunrise was a little pink and later in the day it started to drizzle, and there was I thinking the red and purple sunset yesterday meant something!!
Lots of purple and pink with a splash of red, orange and yellow.
This afternoon it started to rain, I actually cannot remember when we last had rain, so must be a while ago and no doubt 'we need the rain'.
However, it makes me so appreciative of our evening yesterday, as in the rain the whole thing would be quite miserable.
Anyway, here are some more pics from last evening.
Yes, the lights gradually changed colour.
Worked my round and made one of the lights the background for branches.
Had a bit of a wait until it turned almost moon blue.
This was like something from a sci fi film.
We walked through this!
Went out for lunch, tiny place with delicious food. This was the view as we ate!!
This was the sky as I drove home.
The waxy leaved ivy does not mind the frost at all.
Left to their own devices, trees will grow into typical shapes for their species.
Not too many people but lovely, unique, handmade items in the cabins.
Arriving from the east along the River Thames and London as day begins to break.
You can see the river winding across the top 1/3 of the photo above, it is clearer on the crop below.
Bottom left 1/3 is the London Eye.
