Looks like spring is arriving with these little lambs.
They are tiny so must have been born very recently.
And in need of the mother's milk.

This morning dawned cold and misty.
The temperature was below freezing having been 10C degrees in the day.
As the mist left and the sun warmed the ground an amazing sight occurred, only on bare soil in the fields.
Have never seen this before.

Weather Difference
Today the weather was sunny and mild, I even planted some carrot seedlings.

However, just over 100 miles away in a friends garden she had this.

Weather
As the sun rose the day began bright and sunny.
Now the sun has set and we have had clear blue skies, cloudy skies, rain, hail, sleet, snow wind. Mmmm.... think that is about it! A real mixed bag and certainly lots of weather.

Happy St. David's Day
Today, 1st March is St. David's Day.
Saint David is the patron saint of Wales.
Each of the countries in the United Kingdom has their patron Saint.
In Wales they celebrate St. David by wearing daffodils (or maybe leeks) and the school children often go to school dressed in Welsh national dress made from warm wool and cotton.
