A little bleak and without much colour.
I expect there are lots of birds, however, I did not have time to stop and look for them.
Spent much of the day digging up couch grass. When it began to rain came in made some shortbread and Welsh cakes.
A pleasant treat.
Picked my first very small bunch of snowdrops.
The sun shone over the fields and onto the trees, there is one pine tree, the other trees are deciduous and are green with ivy growing over them.
The sun shone through some early morning clouds, then more clouds came, and went and came back again as the weather tried to make up its mind about what sort of day it should be.
This is such a picturesque village.
Can you spot the windmill?
It may be cold outside, but, this little blue clematis is just beginning to flower.
Sun through the reeds.
Early morning frost saw Mr. Reynard crossing the field.
He was a good distance away so the photo quality is not great.
Pretty picture.
There are a few snowdrops almost out even though we have been having frosts.
Little shoots of new life among the detritus of last year.
A little frost and the dead leaves were ringed with a white crystal edge.
The shapes of trees without leaves are like their skeletons.
When they have a fabulous sky behind they look wonderful.
Lost in the post this letter was sent many years ago and has recently surfaced.
How do you think the story continues?
At last!
This morning I was outside in time, (freezing I might add), and I caught the moon before she snuggled down into her cozy cloud blanket.
Dreadful photo of the setting moon and then the sunrise.
Today we had sun, rain, snow and lots of wind. Quite a day for weather.
A very poor picture as I was surprised when these geese flew by this morning.
While out clearing up some dead leaves I heard a buzzing. Although I did not see what insect was buzzing, I did see these two little clematis flowers on 2 different plants, I am sure that is a little unusual for January.
There seemed to be something familiar about my red pepper.
On a square postcard.
Locating pictures and then placing them took a lot longer than anticipated.
How many elements do you think make up this montage?
There are 9 elements.

Took the picture of the red mug and added it to a shelf scene.
Apparently, today was an ideal day for ploughing.
It was a lovely sunny day.
The gulls enjoyed looking for insects.
The sun was setting and I took a couple of snaps, the trees in the foreground blurred and I love the effect.
Some lily buds were given to me, they are now in full flower and smelling terrific.
What an amazing colour blue.
In days gone by, children were paid to collect these from the hedgerows.
They are rich in vitamin C and were made into a syrup given to children to aid their vitamin C intake.
Today these hips were just basking in the sunshine.
Found some remnants of last year.
The round seed cases are honesty seed heads and the dried out flower heads are hydrangea.
