See The Pink

Do you see the little circle of pink in the centre of the white petals?
I think this is one type of plum tree.



Whereas these have no pink and are maybe greengages or who knows what kind of plum.

It Probably Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

Plum blossom.
I think some is greengage too, we will have to see. 
The purple plum trees have yet to blossom.

Early Butterfly

Assume this butterfly overwintered somewhere safe and was out enjoying the warmth and the nectar in these flowers.

Spring Weather

Spring weather and the early plum blossom just keep coming out.

Honey Bee and Blossom

The noise the bees were making was quite astounding, there were so many buzzing and enjoying the spring sunshine and making the most of the blossoms.

Missed the Bumble Bee

There was a rather large bumble bee buzzing round, when I bent to take the photo, he buzzed off!

Today was a spring day with sunshine and showers and as the rhyme goes, "a sunny shower won't last half an hour", and they did not.

First Lamb

This is the first lamb we have spotted.

First Plum Blossom

This blossom is for the Mirabelle plums, they are a yellow and crimson colour when ripe.

A welcome sign of spring and hopefully the fruitful year to come.

Frogs Spawn

What we initially thought was a spring turned out to be multitudes of frogs.
And lots of frogs spawn.
