There were pastel colours in the clouds, and as it was slightly red, we are going with the 'red sky at night is a shepherds delight' (or if you are in America 'sailors' delight. You would think that as an island nation Great Britain would be more inclined to use the term sailor than a huge continent like America!
Anyway, shepherds or sailors the sky may mean no rain tomorrow, not that we had much today.
